Old Scholars are warmly invited to attend our Annual General Meeting on Saturday 26th April 2025 at 2.00pm at the Friends' Meeting House, Saffron Walden and online.

After the Annual General Meeting, there will be a screening of the 1977 "School Day" film. This is the film which documents the Friends' initiative whereby students take over running the school for a day without any teachers present. A tradition which had sadly ended by the time I was at school.

As mentioned in the agenda, there is also the possibility of Old Scholars having a look at the school site. The Committee contacted Chase New Homes about the possibility of a tour and Chase suggested this would be better at the AGM in 2026 when access to the main building is possible. However, intrepid Old Scholars could view parts of the site this year via the car park off Mount Pleasant Road and via The Avenue off Debden Road. There are some recent photos of the school site below, taken by Martin Hugall, to give a sense of what lies in store for those who do have a look.

Finally, we have also been busy working on getting the various school publications digitised and onto the website, which can be found here: https://oldscholars.com/Publications
