For the 40th Anniversary of their year group leaving FSSW, Old Scholars from the 1978 Year Group met for a reunion in Saffron Walden; some meeting up again for the very first time. Some 35 Old Scholars from the group came together from as far afield as California and the US East Coast, Italy, Belgium and Arran for the reunion over the weekend of 22nd to 24th June, benefitting from the glorious weather. Over the weekend the events included dinner in the Eight Bells, a picnic in Bridge End Gardens, a barbecue at an Old Scholar's house and lunch at Clavering Lakes. A good time was had by all and discussion has already begun on when to organise the next get together.
