Congratulations to former Head Sarah Evans on being invited to receive the OBE award for her Services to Education in the 2014 New Year Honours List.Sarah Evans was Head of Friends’ School from 1989 to 1996 and has recently retired after 17 years as Head of King Edward VI High School for Girls in Birmingham.Sarah served on a number of education committees and was Chair of the Independent Schools' Teacher Induction Panel.
