Thanks to OS Nick Dakin (YG 1973), we have been made aware of the latest proposals of Chase New Homes regarding the development of the Friends' School site. They are similar in many ways to their proposals in June 2021 (see earlier post) and the differences are shown in the attached jpg and pdf. As per their last proposal they are not indicating what they plan to do with the school fields. However, the major difference is that as Uttlesford Planning is now in special measures, their application will be made directly to the Secretary of State.

Chase New Homes has now applied to the Secretary of State for planning permission to develop the west part of the Friends' School site, which does appear to keep the swimming pool. Details can be found on the Uttlesford Planning site at:
