1982 Year Group Reunion Report

Having been in contact with Lucy Finzi, Vanessa Collings, Adam Butcher and Anthony Bufton, we have the following account and series of photos of the 1982 Year Group Reunion! "On the weekend of April 12th/13th 2025, the Class of ‘82 descended on Saffron Walden for a reunion and good ol’ catch up. There were about 30 of us, with some travelling from Spain, Ibiza, Switzerland, Belgium and Sweden to attend.We started off on the Friday evening at The Old English Gentleman. On Saturday afternoon we had the use of the Quaker Meeting House, and we then went on to The Cross Keys who fed us, accommodated some of us and did a fantastic job. It was lovely to catch up, reminisce and look at old photos and Avenues. Sometimes simply recognising each other proved very difficult!Some of us went up to the school and had a look at one of the show homes. This was a mixed experience as relating what is there now to what we remembered of the school raised mixed emotions. Despite this a great weekend was had by all."Captions:1.
