Old Scholars' Annual General Meeting 2026

Old Scholars are warmly invited to attend our Annual General Meeting on Saturday 25th April 2026 at 2.00pm at the Friends' Meeting House, Saffron Walden and online.
After the Annual General Meeting, there will be a screening of the 10 minute 1989 students’ film of school life.
As mentioned in the agenda, there is also the possibility of Old Scholars walking around the school site which is now accessible to the public. The main building is unfortunately not ready for a tour, but Old Scholars are welcome to view parts of the site via the car park off Mount Pleasant Road, or via The Avenue off Debden Road where you can gain access near the Water Tower and also from south end of the Avenue.
We would also like to draw Old Scholars attention to the fact the Committee is recommending changing the constitution to reduce the frequency of General Meetings to every two years.
The reasoning for this is that the School has been closed for almost nine years; a lot of work is required by a few to organise each General Meeting and it is increasingly difficult to get members to attend. At the same time, we now have efficient means of communication with members via email, website and social media.
