“The Inept” Friends’ School band in the 80s after a gig at the Leisure Centre. Greg Baldeosingh, James Tuckwell, Olly Hartley, Martin Moore and Tom Hartley.
James lives in the USA but will be visiting the UK this May and would like to meet up with as many old friends as possible.
James and Phil Gibbs are organising a reunion in Saffron Walden on the weekend on the 11th May 2019 and are hoping that as many Old Scholars as possible who left between 1984 and 1988 will be able to join them for a reunion at the Eight Bells in Saffron Walden on Saturday 11th May from 6pm. Please let your friends know and if you are able to attend please email either Phil Gibbs firstname.lastname@example.org
or James Tuckwell email@example.com
In a recent email James writes: “I went to the States after attending North London Polytechnic to study Hotel, Catering & Institutional management. I did an Internship in San Diego, California. I went back after finishing my course, and stayed! I worked in hotels for a few years, then in Food Manufacturing. I opened a restaurant and then fast forward a couple of years to 2010, when I got married again. We have built two retail stores in Carlsbad, just north of San Diego, and acquired a few rental cabins in the local mountains which we rent out on Airbnb etc....I still play music with a trio. We do...of course....early Beatles, and are called the 63eatles."
