It will interest Old Scholars to hear that Chase Homes' initial planning application for part of the school site has been rejected by the council. All the planning documents can be found on this page with the refusal documents at the top. The Decision Notice is also attached below as a PDF.

There are multiple reasons given for the refusal. The main objection being that the field is designated as sports facilities and cannot be revoked unless alternative facilities are available. Chase has the ability to appeal the planning refusal. Many objections to the proposals came from Old Scholars, ex-staff members, as well as local residents.
