Old Scholar Gaia Shaw will be opening her studio as part of Cambridge Open Studios in July 2026.Visitors are warmly invited to see Gaia’s latest work at:The Garden Studio3 Church Path, Royston RoadSaffron Walden, CB11 4JZGaia will be taking part over weekends 2, 3 and 4 of the Cambridge Open Studios programme (11th-12th; 18th-19th and 25th-26th July; 10-5pm). She has recently been doing portrait sessions with Bruce Munro, a great repository of Saffron Walden and Thaxted history, who, although not a scholar at Friends’ School, “knew everyone in Saffron Walden at one time”.If you are in the Saffron Walden area, do consider dropping in to support a fellow Old Scholar and enjoy an opportunity to view her work in her studio setting.
